Urology on the Beach 2025
In January, the beautiful city of Miami Beach welcomes leading urologists to the annual, three-day “Urology on the Beach” conference, hosted by the Desai Sethi Urology Institute at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
The meeting is a forum during which urology professionals share and exchange new concepts, ideas, and treatment strategies to improve the urological health of men and women.
“The event takes place in a friendly environment conducive to interaction and collaboration among fellow physicians from around the country and abroad, and is a great opportunity to establish direct contact with the best experts in the field,” says Dr. Bruno Nahar, urologic oncologist at DSUI and creator of the event program.
The “Urology on the Beach 2025” program includes topics such as oncology, female urology, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), men’s health, lithiasis, and translational research, among others.
A panel of experts will discuss patient cases, providing a unique opportunity to discuss practical, day-to-day management of real-life cases.
The “Future of Urology” session will discuss new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, and their influence on clinical practice.
“Urologic oncologists basically do robotic surgery. We will be presenting cases in the surgical theater and a presentation on multidisciplinary robotic surgery in the plenary session,” says Dr. Nahar.
The conference is another step by Desai Sethi to accelerate research advances, expand clinical care, and train future urologists.
“Urology on the Beach 2025” will be held at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel from January 17 to 19. For more information, visit Dsuiurologyonthebeach.com.
